The social giant first introduced these adverts in the US, but now it’s just a matter of weeks until the first autoplay ads will start in the UK too. Tweets And YouTube Videos Enter UK National Archives

The UK’s National Archives agency recently announced on its website that it will start archiving YouTube videos and tweets posted by UK central government departments. This is in line with a technical project aimed at capturing social media in the UK Government Web Archive, so that it is preserved as the official public record for future generations.
